National Liver Strategy The Department of Health in England has appointed a new National Clinical Director – A Liver Czar – to oversee the development of a national liver strategy. The aim will be to explore how best to improve liver services throughout England. This Strategy does not apply to Northern Ireland. Our Group is in correspondence with the Minister for Health, Mr Michael McGimpsey to ensure that his Department keeps pace with developments and considers the need for a similar strategy here in Northern Ireland. |
