Support for Organ Donation We are continuing to be involved in several committees looking at ways to implement the recommendations of the Organ Donation Task Force. An NHS road show was in Belfast on Saturday 13 February as part of a UK-wide campaign to close the gap between the number of people who say they`d be willing to accept an organ if they needed one – 96% - and those who have pledged to donate by joining the Organ Donor Register, currently 27%.
